A periodic payment between long and short holders of Ethereum (ETH) perpetual futures that keeps the contract price near spot. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when negative, shorts pay longs. Right now it ranges from −0.0020% to 0.0155% per 8 hours across 34 exchanges.
