How Bybit calculates funding
Bybit: F = clamp[P + clamp(I − P, −0.05%, 0.05%), upper limit, lower limit], where I is 0.03% a day scaled to the interval (0.01% per 8 h; 0% on a few pairs such as USDCUSDT) and P the average premium index, recomputed every minute with later minutes weighing more. The limits are min((initial − maintenance margin rate) × 0.75, maintenance margin rate) both ways, and Bybit may widen them in volatile markets.
